Pantang

Today we had our first BM class. Remember the class which I told you that only have 3 girls? Our teacher's name is Che Rahimah. I forgot to ask whether she is a Miss or Mrs. We had our class in BT3, the class at the very corner of the Language Centre.

It was a very funny class with the boys cracking spontaneous jokes about each other. We are going to have 3 assessments, 2 essays and some sort of speaking test. For the speaking test, she wanted us to do pair debate and she has already fixed the pair and I am pairing with Muhammad Nuraizat. =,=''

After briefing us on the important things, we started the self introduction session. Maria told me yesterday that for her class, she asked them to talk about 3 special characteristic of yourself. I did not prepare anything since I thought that she would change the question. Well, she did not change it, she just add another question to the same question as yesterday and this time, she wanted FOUR. She wanted us to talk about 4 things that we could not stand of and 4 special characteristics of yourself.

I am the second person to present after Thaqief since she followed the name list and I was really panic at that time that I just randomly talk about something. These are my points and since it is Malay language class, I would write in Malay.

4 benda yang saya pantang :
1. Saya tak suka orang tipu saya dan saya tahu benda tu sendiri, bukan dia yang mengaku.
2. Saya tak suka orang cakap besar.
3. Saya tak suka Janji Melayu.
4. Saya tak suka orang ambil barang saya tanpa izin.

4 perkara menarik tentang diri saya :
1. Saya ada banyak baju pink.
2. Saya suka kumpul kotak yang cantik-cantik.
3. Saya senang tertidur.
4. Saya alergi dengan kucing tapi saya suka kucing dan ada bela seekor kucing.

The boys points are very funny. Here are some that I could remember

Benda yang saya pantang :
1. Saya tak suka orang baring atas katil saya dan tinggalkan kesan
2. Saya tak suka orang mungkir janji
3. Saya tak suka orang kutuk Barcelona
4. Saya tak suka orang kacau waktu saya main game, lagi-lagi bila saya nak menang
5. Saya tak suka orang kutuk ibu bapa saya
6. Saya tak suka orang yang tak jaga kebersihan
7. Saya tak suka orang kutuk Torress
8. Saya tak suka orang kutuk Messi
9. Saya tak suka perempuan gedik
10. Saya tak suka main di bahagian pertahanan
11. Saya tak suka main bola dan orang tak pass bola dekat saya
12. Saya tak suka orang intai saya mandi atau buang air
13. Saya tak suka orang cari pasal dengan saya waktu panas
14. Saya tak suka orang hon

Perkara menarik tentang diri saya :
1. Saya menjaga kebersihan dan kekemasan
2. Saya tak cerewet tentang makanan
3. Saya rajin buat kerja rumah
4. Saya tak suka keluar rumah
5. Saya menjaga hubungan persahabatan
6. Saya suka makan
7. Saya suka makan roti canai dengan Nutella
8. Saya panas baran
9. Saya kuat minum air
10. Saya selalu utamakan adik saya
11. Saya tak kisah bersusah payah kerana kawan
12. Saya suka bekerja daripada masa terluang
13. Saya suka main game Barbie
14. Saya tak reti mengekspreskan kemarahan saya

Not all points are listed up here because I laughed a lot that I could not remember all of them. I do not know whether I am looking forward for the next class or not but one thing for sure, the class was very cold indeed. A small room like that with 2 air conditioner, even Karam was shivering just now.

Alone

-I miss Japan-

First day of Respiratory block. First day of new semester as well. In this new semester we have to take English and Malay language as a requirement for us to graduate. So today itself, the list of our new group is already put on the notice board. I went to the Language Centre before the lecture start with Naem.

For English, I am in Group 1 while all my 3 roommates are in Group 2. *sigh*

For Malay language, I am not in the same group with my roommates as well but to make things worse, I am one of the three lucky girls to be in that group 7 with the other 11 boys. What a "luck". The other two girls are Dian and Karamjit.

I was so devastated of the news that I could not really concentrate in the lecture. Nadia took the pictures of the name list and when I compare both my English and Malay language class, there are a few of us who are having the same English and Malay language classes and again I am the ONLY girl.

These are the names who is in the same English and Malay language group with me
Fida
Gan
Siew Fai
Hwei Sheng
Lok Yuan Rui
Najmi
Muhammad Nuraizat

Praying that this semester will flow smoothly, amin.

Selangor

-Notes from September to January-

Have I told you that a lot of people had never guess that I am from Selangor?

Studying in USM Kubang Kerian, Kelantan. So this is my first time studying out of Selangor. My primary and secondary school is just near my house and I did my foundation in UiTM Puncak Alam, Selangor.

I don't know why but since I start my degree in this university, meeting new people and when they asked me where am I from, the first state that they would mention will never be Selangor. It is either Kelantan, Kedah or somewhere else. Do I look like a Kelantanese because it is quite frequent for people to said that I am from Kelantan. Still can't figure out why.

Why am I writing about this? This thing is bugging my mind again since half an hour ago? Hahaha.. I was talking to Farah just now and she suddenly said,

Farah : Kak Nab tinggal area sini jer kan?

Me : Huh?

Farah : Kak Nab orang Kelantan kan?

Me : Eh, tak lah.

Farah : Kedah eyh?

Me : Eyh, kita orang Selangor lah.

Random #1

-before holiday-

Today would be my first day in USM after the Chinese New Year. Arrived in the airport around 12.15 pm. This is my first time taking MAS flight to Kota Bharu and trust me the service is not that good. I'm not saying that it is bad but it should be better in terms of it's reputation.

Now it's already 7 pm and believe it or not I'm finally done unpacking all my things, rearranging all the books, clothes and stuffs, washing all the dirty clothes I left before the holiday, hand wash my telekung and cleaning the room. Phewwwww.

I remember tweeting that I want to reorganize all the folders in this laptop during the holiday but I could not find the time to do it so hopefully I can spend tonight doing that plus I want to wrap the new textbooks my sister bought for me. It's not cheap okay and I am very thankful to her that she bought all the books for me.

p/s : Envying my friends who bought the iPad, tabs and whatever gadgets in the market T.T

Evelyn Rose

-this picture has got nothing to do with this post-

I was in Port Dickson yesterday and spend most of my time there by reading novel. Such a long time since I've read Malay novel. The last time would be.... urm, I could not remember.

It was not my novel by the way. It is my sister's. This holiday, I plan to read the book about Sultan Muhammad al-Fateh which I bought a long time ago and I manage to do that in two days. So when I went to PD I brought this thin novel entitled The Ultimate Gift which I've read before this but I've forgot the story line. One thing for sure, I know that this book is worth to read. However, I ended up reading a Malay novel written by Aleya Annesa (don't know the real spelling) and it is super boring. I read the synopsis, first few page, few last page and scan through the whole novel. Finish that in 1 hour +++.

We went to our grandma's house before going to PD so I finish that novel in my grandma's house. On our way to PD, I told my sister about how boring that novel was and she totally agreed with me. She told me that there is this one novel she just bought written by Emily Rose (that's what I heard) and it is much better that Aleya Annesa's novel. I saw that she brought the book in PD so I start to read it as recommended by her.

The title of the novel is The Wedding Breaker and it is written by Evelyn Rose. Yes, this novel deserve four and a half stars. The hero and heroin are so perfect for each other. Tengku Adam Kamil and Ariana Rose. The novelist is a Kelantanese and there are some issues about being proud of Kelantan and all that. If I did not study in this university, I would have said that she is just being proud or something but since it is the other way round, I understand what she's trying to say.

Time

Hey! I am going back to Kelantan the day after tomorrow. Owh my, time sure fly very fast when you are enjoying every moment of it. I have a one week holiday and what have I done so far? Well, what I can say is that every moment is spent with the family. I have not meet any of my friends yet. How surprising is that? It is not surprising at all actually because I did not plan to meet any of my friends except for those 3 people but then all of us are busy so I don't think we'll have the time to meet each other this holiday. Have to wait till the next holiday I guess which is 6 months away from now!

Supposely, there are a lot of things that should be done during this holiday but I have not start on any of them. I am lazy, yes I agree on that but my mind keep thinking of that things. I want to have a time of my own but still I can't get off my mind from those things. Sometimes, thinking of all the programmes that are going to be held after this break makes me wanna vomit because of the number of programmes. I should divide my time and use the time wisely this time.

Did you know that I have quit my jogging activities since the first selanjar? That is so not healthy and I feel so fat right now.

Silence Is Golden

We went to this programme called Awesome Muslimah. There was a talk with Ummi Rose about "Speak Good or Be Silent". The theme for this event is black and gold. Naem and I was so excited that we followed the theme of the programme but then people mistaken us as the organizer since no other people following the theme other than the organizers. Naaahh it's okay.

The session was good. I was quite sleepy in the beginning of the event but as time move on, the talk become more interesting so the sleepiness were gone. We got a free button badge and there was also a quote competition. I like the way they conduct the competition but the results are a bit blergh..

From this event, I got to know a song from In-Team called Bicara Kata. A simple song with a deep meaning. I was also introduced to the Native Deen as well through the song Speak Good or Keep Silent.

Weight

Alhamdulillah. I have just finished Selanjar 2 yesterday. That is the reason why this blog has been abandoned for such a long time. I have the urge to type but has been very busy with all the notes and books.

What would be my comment for this second selanjar? In my opinion, it is better compared to the first Selanjar. I don't know whether I am more prepared for this time or because this is our second time taking selanjar, so we have got the flow of the exam. How to prepare, what to expect from different paper and how to manage our time.

Currently, I am still wearing my telekung. Too lazy to do anything. I have packed my things and cleared my study table. Maria, Nadia and I are going to the airport  at 10 o'clock. Taking the same flight with Maria. Yeay~~~ At least I won't be a forever alone all the way. Can't wait to meet my family. It has been 3 months since the last time I went back home.

The last time I went back home, everyone said that I have reduce my weight but this time I am sure that my siblings will tease me for putting on weight. Nevermind, I will start working out after the Chinese New Year holiday. For now, I want to enjoy the home cooked food as well as the food that I can't get here in Kelantan.
